Guess what I found today at the Goodwill.....

Today I was taking my own advice and went to some Thrift Stores. We don't have very many and the last stop was the Goodwill.
I looked at the toys which were located on top of a clothes rack so it is eye level for me. I walked all around it and just saw a bunch of Barbies and stuffies and other plastic toys, so I went to where the books were and found Samantha Saves the Day for .50.
Went back for one last check of the toys and there on the rack about to fall off was Josefina, in her meet outfit minus the drawers and shoes. I was shaking because I could'nt beleive it and I was holding on to her for dear life. I simply walked up to pay for her $3. and walked out to my car.
Oh and I got lost coming home and there are like 3 main streets in my fair city. I had to go to work at TRUS and at 5 I got to go home and she is just the most precious doll I have ever seen. I am going to send her in for a wellness check up for her loosey goosey legs and a hair redo. [img]graemlins/rose.gif[/img]

What an AMAZING find! Congratulations!! I search my local thrift stores high and low, and never have any finds! Good job!

WOW! Lucky you. I looked at salvation today and nothing. I think I'm going to check a local goodwill tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers.

Whoa! Betty you have renewed my determination to find something at a TS. Last week when I first tried and found nothing, I was like, "what a waste of time".

Now I am detrmined. $3, only $3! SUPER!!! FANTASTIC! and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thank you all for your kind words. I brushed Josefina's hair and it looks so much better, I didn't want the people at the AGH to spend alot of time doing something I could do. And it's good for bonding.
